Elon Musk Reveals Something Special At T-Mobile And SpaceX

(CTN News) – Elon Musk is expected to reveal plans to “increase connectivity” at a live stream later today.

According to Notebook check, Elon Musk teased the announcement on SpaceX’s Twitter account, followed by a tweet that stressed “This is something special.”

Livestreaming starts at 8 p.m. ET with Musk and T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert.

Over half a million people have signed up for Starlink, which provides internet access via 3,000 satellites.

But in the long run, Elon Musk T-Mobile could be a good partner. The company already has a lot of internet connectivity.

Through Starlink and vice versa, hard-to-reach areas could be connected to 5G.

As part of the announcement, the FCC is also allowing internet access through Starlink inside moving vehicles at the same time as the announcement.

The only caveat Elon Musk I would like to make is that there may be a bit of “interference” from other services, but I believe that that can be resolved through the partnership.
Through the Starlink-T-Mobile alliance, both companies could qualify for government subsidies for rural internet investments.
Livestream may focus on rural coverage today.  helped T-Mobile reach its 5G coverage goal. Rather than investing in fiber for rural areas, T-Mobile can use infrastructure.

In addition to providing 5G connections in the wireless sphere, Verizon and AT&T are also offering 5G connections in the terrestrial wireless space, according to Geekwire.

Recently, a researcher demonstrated how to breach Starlink’s services with a $25 homemade device at a security event.
